Ground Control, also called GC, is the leading frame company in the “aggressive inline” category. In 2008, 2 new Ground Control frames were launched. The Featherlite and Formula 1 frame. The Featherlite is designed by Stefan Horngacher (Razors Pro) from Austria and this frame is the lightest frame on the market. The Formula 1 frames are very durable and they are used by many pro skaters.

Ground Control was founded by Brian Shima (Nimh Pro) and Jon Elliot (Rollerblading legend) in 2001. The headquarters of GC is located in San Diego (California). San Diego is the home town of many of the stars of Rollerblading, such as Chris Haffey and Brian Shima. Still more people are moving to this city, because it is the place to be if you are into skating.
